Ball Jar Room Deodorizer

I've been using Ball Mason Jars for everything lately! There was a horrible bacon grease disaster in the oven the other day. As much as I love bacon, I don't need our kitchen to smell like bacon grease at all times. So I took to Pinterest and found this tutorial.

I switched up the tutorial by using fabric on top. I used Lemon Grass essential oil with baking soda in a short Ball jar (purchased a 4-pack for under $5 at Menards). Then I took pinking shears to make the fabric edge a bit cuter. The bowl served as my circle template. After I removed the lid part and screwed the top over the fabric, I used a large needle to poke a ridiculous amount of holes in the top of the fabric. My kitchen smells lemony. Not bacon-y. Success!

After this photo was taken I couldn't stand that the fabric covered the jar and I trimmed it up even more.
